Tropical Country

País Tropical emerges from my five years in Brazil, a country where
art vibrates in every corner. Its emblematic streets, filled with
mosaics, graffiti, and vibrant colors, along with its breathtaking
natural landscapes, have been the essence of this series. Through
this work, I capture my admiration and love for a land full of life and
creativity.

Currently, the series consists of three sculptures that reinterpret the
mosaic from a contemporary perspective. Using ceramics and
recycled materials, I decontextualize its traditional use, transforming
fragments into pieces of art. Each sculpture is worked on all sides,
creating a three-dimensional experience that invites the viewer to
discover new details from every angle.

This process pays tribute to Brazil’s rich visual and cultural identity,
capturing its energy and dynamism through color, texture, and form.

País Tropical marks the beginning of a deeper exploration of art and
identity, where the transformation of materials and abstraction
become a language that transcends words.
